Operation Sceptre: Opportunity for you to surrender a knife

This week we’re taking part in Op Sceptre. This is a national operation that includes targeted operations and activities to raise awareness of the dangers and consequences of carrying a knife.

 

While knife crime remains low in Warwickshire, it remains a national problem, and we are committed to doing our bit to tackle it. Every knife taken off our streets makes our streets safer.

 

We will have a knife surrender bin at Bedworth Police Station this evening (Thursday 14 November) 6.30-8.00pm. Anyone can surrender a knife anonymously, no questions asked.

 

If you have concerns around someone carrying a knife, then please do the right thing and get them to hand it in or report it. You could potentially save a life.
