In October, we saw a reduction of 18% for serious violence and 15% for ASB in noted hotspots across Warwickshire.
October saw very positive results for Op Resolve, our efforts to use hotspot patrolling to tackle antisocial behaviour and serious violence across Warwickshire.
The reductions we have seen are in relation to a three-year average for reports across the area.
In total for September, we recorded 1,473 patrols being carried out across the county, a combined total of 1,051 hours spent on foot patrol in addition to our regular patrolling and policing.
Op Resolve is a Home Office-funded scheme during which we have identified where the highest concentrations of serious violence and antisocial behaviour across the county are, and also when those incidents are taking place during the day.
These hotspots are then the subject of targeted patrols from our officers and PCSOs.
