Nguyen Vanty, a 45-year-old male of no fixed abode, was arrested following a raid on a cannabis grow on Middlemarch Road in Nuneaton.
The grow was discovered by two officers from the Nuneaton Safer Neighbourhood Team, who were initially responding to complaints from members of the community about drug use in the area.
Following their nose led them to the house, inside which a total of 238 plants were found across four rooms in the house, equivalent to about £200,000 estimated street value.
Nguyen was charged yesterday evening (07 September) with cultivation of cannabis and abstracting electricity.
He will appear in Coventry Magistrates Court on Monday 11 September.
