A man has been arrested after another man was allegedly punched in a robbery in Coleshill.
Police launched an investigation following the incident on the afternoon of 4 September when a man in his 60s was attacked in the town.
The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries to his face. His injuries were not life-threatening.
A 21-year-old man from the local area was yesterday (Monday 25 September) arrested on suspicion of robbery.
The suspect was also arrested on suspicion of committing a public order offence after it is alleged he threatened staff at a pub in Corley after they asked him to leave. This incident also occurred on 4 September.
He has been bailed until November while enquiries continue.
