Delivery drivers operating around Nuneaton and Bedworth are advised to take care when opening their van for deliveries.
There have been two recent instances of a delivery driver in Bedworth reportedly being targeted by masked males who have unloaded parcels from the delivery van into their own car after pushing the driver out of the way.
The same company was targeted in both incidents, and we are working closely with the company’s security advisors to find out more.
We are also asking all members of the public to keep an eye out for their local delivery drivers, and if they see any suspicious behaviour around their vans to make a report to the police as soon as possible.
You can make a report online at www.warwickshire.police.uk, by calling 101, or by calling CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
If you see a crime in progress, call 999 immediately.
