Two men have been arrested on suspicion of burglaries in Studley.
The first burglary occurred on 5 September when entry was forced to a house in High Street and a car was stolen.
On 16 October entry was forced to a garage and cigarettes, vapes, sweets and a charity box were stolen.
A 33-year-old man from Studley was identified as a suspect and arrested on suspicion of two counts of burglary. He was bailed for these offences but detained for an outstanding warrant for failure to appear at court.
A 41-year-old man from Studley was arrested in connection with the incident at the petrol station and later bailed while enquiries continue.
Anyone with information that can help police with their ongoing enquiries can call 101 quoting incident 91 of 5 September 2023 (for the burglary in High Street) or incident 348 of 16 October 2023 (for the burglary at the petrol station). Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
