Gareth Heywood (55 of Burbury Close, Leamington) has been arrested and charged with four counts related to shoplifting following reports of a series of thefts over the course of September.
Three of the charges are for theft from a shop, and the fourth is for attempted theft from a shop.
Over the course of September, just over £100 worth of items was reportedly taken from three different stores in Leamington.
There was also an alleged attempt to take a copy of a popular trivia-based board game without payment, which was reportedly stopped when the individual was questioned by an employee on the way out.
Gareth will appear in Coventry Magistrates Court on 24 October.
