A police investigation is underway after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted in Nuneaton.
The incident happened on a pathway between Shanklin Drive and Higham Lane at just before 4pm on Wednesday 8 November. It was reported to police yesterday (Friday 17 November).
The offender is described as around 5ft 6in and in his mid-20s. He was wearing black sunglasses, a black covid mask, a big brown jacket with a hood and black jeans.
Detective Inspector Paul Sartoris said: “This is an extremely concerning incident and we’re keen to identify the offender as quickly as possible.
“The victim is understandably very shaken by the incident, and we are making sure she gets the support she needs.
“If you have any information, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
