UPDATE - Teenager charged after Bedworth incident

A teenager has appeared in court in connection with an incident that saw a man suffer a stab wound in Bedworth.

The 16-year-old from Bedworth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with:

• possessing a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place
• Section 18 - wounding with intent 

He went before magistrates on Thursday (18 May) where he was remanded to appear at Warwick Crown Court on 1 June.

It follows an incident on Park Road on Tuesday (16 May).

A 15-year-old boy and a 42-year-old man - both from Bedworth - arrested on suspicion of assault - GBH in connection with the incident have been bailed until August.
