Officers are investigating a report of a man being forced into a car following an altercation in Nuneaton.
The incident occurred yesterday (Thursday 4 May) at around 8.50pm near the One Stop on Trafford Drive.
Witnesses reported seeing the man being forced into a light-blue Ford Focus before being driven away.
Inspector Stuart Randell said: “So far we have been unable to identify the man or the car he was forced into. We’ve also received no reports of anyone missing or anyone being a victim of a crime.
“We urgently need to check on the man’s welfare and I would ask anyone with information that could help us do this to get in touch. I’d also ask the man himself to make contact with us so we can check he is okay.”
Anyone with information that could help police with their enquiries can go to www.warwickshire.police.uk/report or call 101 quoting incident 373 of 4 May 2023.
