Warwickshire BikeSafe and Biker Down is also out and about engaging with motorcyclists at dealerships and events over the summer.
The next dealership day is on Saturday 17 June at Alf England’s in Bedworth from where the team will be offering advice and mini assessed rides during the Alf England Open Day.
The BikeSafe team will also be at the ABR Festival at Ragley Hall over the weekend of Friday 23 to Sunday 25 June, with our Biker Down partners to chat to bikers, offer informal advice and mini assessed rides.
Regional BikeSafe Coordinator Sergeant Shaun Bridle said “We will be bringing our Yamaha R1 bike along to these events, because as bikers ourselves, it’s a great talking point and we love talking to fellow bikers about all things bike.”
“We are here to help you improve your safety and enjoyment of your bike. We know how important it is to have your skills checked from time to time and that’s why having your skills reviewed by a police trained motorcyclist is one of the best investments you can make. BikeSafe workshops are great value because they are highly subsidised to ensure they remain accessible to as many motorcyclists as possible. “
