Two men have been arrested on suspicion of breaking into a house in Nuneaton.
The break in occurred in the early hours of Tuesday (11 July) morning in Watitune Avenue. Car keys, watches, jewellery, a bank card, and a phone were stolen.
Officers stopped a stolen car suspected of being used in the burglary in Pandora Road, Coventry on Wednesday afternoon. They arrested 43-year-old Dean Brooks of Sadler Gardens, Bedworth, and seized drugs and a throwing star.
Brooks was later charged with burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, possession of cocaine, and possession of heroin.
He appeared at Coventry Magistrates’ Court on Thursday where he was remanded to appear at Warwick Crown Court on 10 August.
A 40-year-old man of no fixed abode was also arrested on suspicion theft of a motor vehicle and burglary and later released under investigation while enquiries continue.
