A 25-year-old from Coventry was arrested yesterday afternoon at Euston Road Police Station in Leicester on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
At around 8.15pm on 26 June, in the area of Dark Lane and Smercote Close, a victim was shot when he was with two other males.
The victim was found a short time later in Smorrall Lane with gunshot wounds to his chest.
He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder the same day as the incident.
Two other men were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder on 30 June and 1 July.
All have been released on bail pending further investigation.
Investigations into this incident are ongoing.
