Plain clothed officers in Bedworth arrested two men after they spotted them leave a house known for drug use in the town. They also seized suspected class A drugs, cash, mobile phones and a knife after stopping the men in Croft Pool.
The first suspect – a 20-year-old man from Bedworth – was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and possession of a knife.
The second suspect – a 23-year-old man from Coventry – was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.
Detective Constable Dan Lydster from Warwickshire Police Proactive CID said: “Drugs cause significant harm in our communities and Warwickshire Police remains committed to taking action to prevent the distribution and supply of illicit drugs.”
The two men remain in custody.
