Police arrested three males in Coventry after spotting a van on false number plates in Blackhorse Road, Exhall in the early hours of Sunday (2 October) morning.
The van made off from police who pursued it into Coventry.
Officers reported the van hit 57 miles per hour in a 30 mile per hour zone and jumped red lights.
The vehicle came to a stop in Winston Avenue, Wood End, Coventry where the occupants tried to flee on foot before being detained by officers.
Two 17-year-old boys and an 18-year-old man, all from Coventry, were arrested on suspicion of theft.
Enquiries showed the van had been stolen from Nuneaton. In the back of the van they also found a stolen motorbike.
