Officers are appealing for witnesses as they continue to investigate an assault in Nuneaton.
A woman in her 60s was walking home along Bucks Hill around 10.30pm on Saturday 23 July when a black car – thought to be a Vauxhall Insignia - is understood to have pulled over.
Four men inside the car are reported to have asked the woman to get in but as she moved away they are believed to have assaulted her.
The woman suffered bruises to her face and cuts to her knees while the men left the area in an unknown direction.
Enquiries are currently ongoing and investigating officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area, who witnessed the incident, or who has mobile phone or dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
Anybody who has information of footage that can help should contact the force quoting incident number 461 of 23 July.
