A second man has been arrested in connection with the death of a man at the weekend.
A 42-year-old was arrested this morning (Thursday 1 December) on suspicion of assault and assisting an offender. He is currently in police custody.
The arrest is in connection with an investigation into the death of 31-year-old William ‘Billy’ Carney, who died in hospital at the weekend following an incident in Temple Grafton on 24 November.
A 29-year-old man has also been charged in connection with the incident.
