Suspected Class A drugs and cash were seized following an incident in Rugby.
Officers from Rugby’s Proactive CID team were on patrol on Railway Terrace at 12.15pm on Thursday (17 November) when they witnessed a possible drug deal taking place.
Drugs were seized and officers searched a nearby address in Omega Place where an amount of suspected Class A drugs, cash and other drug-related paraphernalia were recovered.
A 49-year-old man from Rugby was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.
He has been released under investigation (RUI) pending further enquiries.
Anyone with any information concerning suspected drug dealing is asked to report it on the force website
