Were you on Trinity Road in Piccadilly around 5.10pm on Wednesday (November 30)?
We’re appealing for witnesses after a grey Range Rover collided with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian - a 13-year-old boy – is believed to have been walking on the road when the incident took place.
The car stopped at the scene and passers-by also helped, before the boy was taken to hospital.
Sadly he passed away in hospital on Friday (2 December) and his family are now being supported by specialist officers.
Enquiries are currently ongoing and we’re keen to speak with anyone who saw the incident, who was in the area at the time or has any dashcam footage.
Anyone with information should contact the force quoting incident number 278 of 30 November.
