A man has been charged after detectives spotted a suspected drug deal in Nuneaton.
Detectives from Nuneaton Proactive CID were on patrol in Market Place yesterday (Thursday 26 May) when they spotted the suspected deal.
Tom Powell, 18, of Bottrill Street, Nuneaton was arrested and later charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.
A 21-year-old man from Nuneaton also arrested on being concerned in the supply of drugs remains in police custody.
The arrests were made as part of proactive patrols targeting drug crime in the town.
