A man has been arrested following a burglary at a house in Avenue Road, Nuneaton this week.
The incident happened at 1.10pm on Sunday (1 May).
The offender broke into the house and stole electrical equipment and jewellery.
Following CCTV work by Nuneaton Proactive CID a 32-year-old man from Nuneaton was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
Detective Sergeant Todd Lomax from Nuneaton Proactive CID said: “The house owners were devastated to find someone had come into their house and gone through their belongings. We’re pleased that our enquiries have progressed quickly and we’ve identified a suspect.
“Officers from Nuneaton Proactive CID will continue to lead the investigation and we’re appealing for anyone with information to contact us.”
