Warwickshire Police is appealing for help to identify a potential witness.
Between around 11am and 11.30am yesterday morning (Thursday 2 June), a child was found injured on King Edward Road in Nuneaton.
An unknown woman found the child and they were taken to safety.
Investigating officers would now like to identify the woman, who is being treated as a witness and a ‘Good Samaritan’. She may have information which could assist with enquiries.
If anyone is aware of the incident or feels they may know the woman involved, please call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 19 of 3 June 2022.
