A man has been arrested in connection with a rape in Arley.
The incident happened between 9.30pm on Friday 17 June and 1am on Saturday 18 June.
The victim – a female in her late teens - is reported to have been assaulted by a man, described as white and with blond hair. The assault took place at a garage near to George Street.
She is currently being supported by specially trained officers from the force while investigations continue.
A 19-year-old man from the Nuneaton area has been arrested on suspicion of rape. He remains in police custody at this time.
Detective Inspector Collette O’Keefe said: "This was clearly a distressing incident for the victim and we are making sure she has all the support she needs at this time.
"We understand the concern incidents such as this cause and are carrying out extensive enquiries.
"We're keen to speak to anyone who was in the area late on Friday night and into the early hours of Saturday morning.
"We would ask anyone with information or CCTV/dashcam in the area to come forward - any details, no matter how small, could be significant to our ongoing investigation."
