Warwickshire Police is appealing for help following theft from an elderly woman in Bulkington.
Between around 12.45pm and 1pm on Thursday 9 June, a silver Vauxhall Astra pulled in opposite a bus stop on New Street, Bulkington.
A man left the vehicle and crossed over to the bus stop, where he started engaging in conversation with an elderly woman.
A woman then also left the vehicle and approached the woman, where it’s reported she took the victim’s purse from her handbag, then returned to the vehicle.
The man then got back into the car, and the vehicle left in the direction of Rugby Road.
A number of enquiries are ongoing to identify the vehicle and the suspects, and investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage.
