Investigating officers are appealing for witnesses to a robbery in Alcester.
A man in his 40s was walking through Jubilee Court towards St Nicholas Primary School around 11.30pm on Thursday (21 July) when he was approached by two unknown males who asked him a question.
The victim responded to the question and the males are reported to have assaulted him – causing facial and head injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
As the victim attempted to walk away, the two males are understood to have chased him and threatened him before taking the contents of his rucksack, which included bank cards and headphones.
One of the males is described as around 6ft tall, of slim build, with short dark hair, and was wearing a black t-shirt and dark coloured rucksack.
The second male is thought to be around 5ft 10in tall, of slim build, with light coloured hair and was wearing all grey.
Enquiries are currently ongoing and we are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, who was in the area at the time, or saw anyone acting suspiciously.
Anyone with information is asked to report it online, call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 428 of 21 July.
