Officers are appealing for information following a robbery on Church Walk, Mancetter, last Thursday (20 January).
The incident took place at approximately 8pm as a pizza delivery driver stopped to make a delivery in the street. 6 unknown males on 3 motorcycles pulled up alongside and demanded the keys to his moped – a white Honda Vision, registration number KL19 JVF - threatening the victim with violence if he did not comply.
The keys were handed over and the suspects took the moped and rode off towards Atherstone town centre.
The suspects all wore black puffer jackets, motorcycle wear and black helmets.
PC Lily Patterson said, “We would like to hear from anyone with information about this robbery or who may have caught dash-cam or doorbell footage that could help our enquiries.
“Atherstone residents are also asked to keep an eye out for the moped. It has very distinctive Dominos Pizza livery, so should be easily identifiable. It is possible that it may have been abandoned locally.
“Advice around protecting vehicles or property with tracking devices or security markings is available through your Warwickshire Police Safer Neighbourhood Team. Please get in touch if we can help.”
If you witnessed the robbery or have any information or video footage please call 101 quoting incident no 339 of 20 January 2022.
