Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision involving the driver of a white Kia Sportage and a cyclist that occurred at approximately 12.20hours on Thursday 27 January 2022 near Alcester.
The collision is believed to have occurred as the male driver of the white Kia was travelling southbound from Kings Coughton towards the A46 Evesham when he was in collision with a cyclist on the roundabout on the A435, at the junction with the B4089 and Alcester industrial estate.
Police are grateful to a passing nurse who stopped to help the cyclist, a 72 year old man from Alcester. He was taken by ambulance to Worcester Royal Hospital for further assessment and treatment and as well as cuts and bruises, he suffered a fractured spine.
