Nine charged after being arrested during protests in Kingsbury

Nine people have been charged with obstructing or disrupting a person engaged in lawful activity after being arrested during protests in Kingsbury yesterday (Friday 15 April).
The nine are:
- Diana Martin, 76, of Forgebank Walk, Halton, Lancashire
- Christian Murray-Leslie, 77, of Derby Road, Melbourne, Derbyshire
- Daniel Shaw, 36, of Adams Avenue, Northampton
- Sandra Elsworth, 65, of Devonshire Road, Morecambe
- Amy Pritchard, 37, of Gainsford Road, London
- Simon Milner-Edwards, 65, of Dartmouth Road, Manchester
- Ben Taylor, 27, of no fixed abode
- David Nixon, 35, of Kirkstall Road, Barnsley
- Gwen Harrison, 44, of Spital View, Kendal
All nine are due to appear at Coventry Magistrates' Court today.
Three other people arrested remain in custody.
Warwickshire Police is reminding people that a High Court Injunction has been secured in connection with activity at the site. The Order gives a power of arrest outside the terminal and at the junctions of the roads leading into the zone. Click below for more information:
