Can you help (Witness appeals)
We’re appealing for witnesses after a collision on the northbound carriageway of the M42.
It happened between junctions 8 and 9 shortly before midnight on Thursday (28 April).
A red HGV was in collision with a black Nissan X Trail, which was stationary on the hard shoulder.
Four people were taken to hospital – one with serious injuries – while the driver of the HGV was assessed at the scene by paramedics but subsequently released.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to call 101 quoting incident 399 of 28 April.
