Two people were arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences after being stopped by officers in Nuneaton yesterday (Tuesday 31 August) afternoon.
Officers from Nuneaton Proactive CID arrested the pair after stopping a car in Bentley Road, Nuneaton.
They seized cash and mobile phones from the car.
A 21-year-old man from Southampton and 28-year-old woman from Coventry were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs. They were both later released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Detective Constable Dan Stanton from Nuneaton Proactive CID said: “Tackling drugs supply in Nuneaton remains a key priority for us.
“We act on all information provided to us by the community. I would encourage anyone with information relating to drug dealing in the community to contact us.”
