Officers are investigating and appealing for witnesses to a dangerous driving incident in Kingsbury.
A silver Mazda is reported to have failed to stop for police on the A51 from Kingsbury towards Dosthill before overtaking multiple vehicles on blind corners, contravening keep left bollards and exceeding the speed limit between 9.30pm and 9.35pm on Wednesday (22 September).
The vehicle is then understood to have travelled down Sefton Road and Cadogan Road and again failed to stop for officers on Hedging Lane. Shortly afterwards, the vehicle did stop but the occupants left the scene on foot.
PC Thomas Sismey said: “Dangerous driving is not acceptable and it will not be tolerated especially if people are putting other road users at risk.
“Enquiries are ongoing into this incident and as part of our investigation, we’re keen for anyone who witnessed the vehicle and the manner in which it was being driven to get in touch.
“We’d also appeal for anyone who has CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the incident to come forward.”
Anyone with information should report it online or call 101 quoting incident 412 of 22 September.
