The incident happened at approximately 1.55am. Offenders used a vehicle – believed to be a Jeep - to force access to a business premises in Alder Mills Business Park, Atherstone.
During the attempted break in the vehicle collided with a man causing serious injuries to his legs.
A 31-year-old man from Atherstone has been arrested on suspicion of committing burglary and GBH in relation to this incident and another series of burglaries across Warwickshire. He remains in custody.
Anyone who may have information, CCTV or dash cam footage should contact Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident 127 of 27 September 2021.
