A man has been jailed for eight months after he kicked, scratched and spat at officers after they has been called to a pub in Whitnash.
Police were called to the pub on the afternoon of 13 March after Duljit Kandola had caused a disturbance.
The 51-year-old of Markham Drive, Whitnash was being abusive to customers and staff.
When he was asked to leave the pub by officers he refused and breathed heavily in one of their faces.
As the officers went to arrest him one was kicked. While the other officer attempted to restrain Kandola he was scratched and punched.
Other officers were called to the scene where Kandola had started to spit blood at officers after he had suffered an injury to his nose during the incident.
Kandola also subjected officers to racist abuse during the incident.
While in custody Kondola urinated and defecated on the floor of the cell.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting an emergency worker, three counts of racially aggravate harassment, criminal damage and using threatening words likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
