A woman is being questioned after being arrested on suspicion of fraud and drug offences in a police raid on a property in Keresley End this morning (Wednesday 17 November).
The warrant was executed by officers investigating two reports from people who had become aware their personal details were being used to place online orders. The victims reported receiving overdue payment reminders for goods they hadn’t brought.
The officers seized invoices and packing slips from the property.
They also seized cannabis plants and equipment that can be used for growing cannabis.
The woman, aged 27, was arrested on suspicion of fraud by false representation and cultivating cannabis.
