We are appealing for witnesses following an alleged robbery in Nuneaton on Tuesday night (9 November)
The incident is said to have taken place as a 16 year old boy was walking down Thorntons Way at approximately 10pm.
Two men on a black motorcycle pulled up alongside him. The pillion passenger dismounted and threatened the boy with a knife, ordering him to hand over his possessions.
A mobile phone and cash was taken and the two men made off on the motorcycle up Thorntons Way, turning left into Ansley Road.
The motorcycle was described as being black, possibly a superbike of a 16 or 17 plate registration.
Detective Constable Chis Stowe said “This was a serious and cowardly offence against a young man innocently going about his business.
The suspects should be easily identifiable by their distinctive helmets and the motorcycle that they were riding at the time.
If you witnessed the incident or have any other information, dash-cam or doorbell footage, please come forward as soon as possible.”
Reports can be made by calling 101 quoting incident number 410 of 9 November. Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
