A man has been arrested on suspicion of carrying out an armed robbery in Nuneaton.
The incident occurred at a shop in Abbey Gate Shopping Precinct on the afternoon of 6 January 2021.
A man with what was believed to be a small firearm allegedly threatened staff and stole cash.
A 47-year-old man from Nuneaton was arrested by armed offices in the Camp Hill area of the town in the early hours of this morning.
He was also arrested on suspicion of theft after a car was stolen from the car park at George Eliot Hospital on 31 March.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 154 of 6 January 2021. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
