Five people were arrested on Friday (28 May) for suspected drugs offences in Nuneaton.
At around 5.30pm, officers arrested a 26-year-old man from the town on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs, after he was found in possession of a quantity of suspected cocaine.
A 58-year-old man was subsequently arrested on Abbey Street on suspicion of possession with intent to supply. Further quantities of suspected cocaine were located on his arrest.
A short time later, officers arrested a 25-year-old man in School Walk, after a significant amount of cash and cocaine were seized from a vehicle. He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
Later that evening, a 54-year-old woman and another 25-year-old man were arrested on suspicion with intent to supply, following a substantial seizure of drugs from a property.
All of the arrests are currently being linked. Following interview, all five were released under investigation while enquiries on going.
