Two people have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences in Nuneaton.
A stop and search was carried out on a man on St Mary’s Road shortly before 2.30pm yesterday (Wednesday) with cash, two mobile phones and a quantity of what is believed to be cannabis being seized.
An 18-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested by officers on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs. He has been bailed until the end of January.
Shortly afterwards, a warrant was executed at a property on Smithfield Place where cash, drugs paraphernalia and a quantity of what is thought to be class A drugs were located.
A 39-year-old woman from Nuneaton was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs. She has been released under investigation.
A 39-year-old woman from Nuneaton was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear at court. She was detained for court.
Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who has information is asked to report it online or call 101 quoting incident number 194 of 29 December.
