Investigating officers are appealing for witnesses to a burglary in Hillmorton that saw 15 Royal Python snakes stolen.
It happened on Horne Close between 7.30am and 10.30am on Saturday (11 December).
An offender is understood to have forced entry to the property and carried out an untidy search before removing the snakes, a wheeled holdall, a quantity of cash and some keys.
Officers believe the snakes, which have individual markings making them easier to identify should they be found, would have been placed into the holdall and taken through Watts Lane cemetery.
Enquiries are ongoing and we’re appealing for any members of the public who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area between
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 quoting incident number 137 of 11 December.
