Two men arrested following a drugs raid in Nuneaton last night (Monday 30 August) were amongst nine people arrested over the weekend on suspicion of committing drug offences.
Police raided the cannabis farm in Red Deeps and recovered around 80 plants.
A 23-year-old man from Nuneaton and 27-year-old man from London were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis. Both men remain in custody.
Officers were responding to concerns from the local community about suspicious activity at the property.
Two other people were arrested and charged with possession of drugs following violent incidents in Bedworth and Nuneaton over the weekend.
An 18-year-old man from Ryton was cautioned for possession of cocaine after being stopped and searched by officers in Tavistock Street, Leamington in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Four men were also arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs over the weekend.
