A teenager was arrested in Rugby on Tuesday (6 April) in connection with drugs offences.
At around 12pm a male was stopped and searched on Jubilee Street, Rugby.
A quantity of class A drugs (suspected to be both heroin and crack cocaine) were found along with a quantity of cash, a burner phone and paperwork.
A 15-year-old boy from Dudley was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A controlled drugs. He has been released under investigation while enquiries are ongoing.
PC Rebecca Naughton from Rugby CID said: “Thank you to the members of the public who reported suspicious behaviour to us - the public are the eyes and ears of our communities and any intelligence provided will be acted upon.
“These offences will not be tolerated and we are determined to continue the disruption and supply of drugs throughout the county.”
