Two men have been arrested on suspicion of wounding following an incident in Rugby yesterday (Wednesday 16 September).
Officers were called to the Frobisher Road area at around 10.30am, after a man sustained a suspected stab wound during an altercation.
The man, aged in his early twenties, was taken to hospital by ambulance. He is currently recovering in hospital, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
An 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the incident. They have been released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
Detective Inspector Jim Rankin from Warwickshire Police said: “This is currently being treated as an isolated incident, with no threat to the wider public.
“We would ask anyone who witnessed the incident yesterday or who may have any information to please call Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 104 of 16 September.”
