Two men have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences following a warrant in Nuneaton this morning (Monday 21 September).
At around 6.45am, officers entered a property on Alexandra Street.
A quantity of suspected class A and class B drugs were found inside the property, alongside cash, an imitation firearm and a bladed object. All have been seized from the address.
Two 23-year-old men have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply. They are currently in police custody.
Warwickshire Police is committed to targeting and disrupting the supply of illegal drugs in our communities. Protect is a campaign being run by the force alongside a range of partner agencies to tackle Serious and Organised Crime (SOC).
The broad-ranging operation covers four key areas of activity:
• Pursue – prosecuting and disrupting those involved in SOC
•Prevent – stopping individuals from becoming involved in SOC
•Protect – increased levels of protection against SOC
•Prepare – reducing the impact of SOC where it occurs
