Two people have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences following an incident in Rugby yesterday (Thursday 29 October).
At around 12pm, a suspected drugs deal was witnessed on Bath Street.
A significant amount of suspected heroin was seized.
A 40-year-old man from Rugby was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A controlled drugs and a 56-year-old man, also from Rugby, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A controlled drug. Both have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
