Two people have been arrested after officers from Proactive CID launched a drugs raid in Rugby.
Officer executed a warrant in Weston Court yesterday (Monday 12 October) afternoon.
A 56-year-old man and 43-year-old woman, both from Rugby, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and a quantity of suspected class A drugs were seized in the operation. The suspects were both later released under investigation.
Detective Constable Rebecca Naughton from Rugby Proactive CID praised members of the public for their continued support in helping to make the community safer.
She said: “Information provided by the public helps us to target suspected drug dealers and take drugs off the streets. Please keep providing information and we will keep acting on it.”
