A 37-year-old Warwick man has been charged with offences following an armed robbery at a supermarket in the town.
Jack Stopps of Shakespeare Avenue has been charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.
The charges are in relation to an armed robbery at Tesco Express in Chase Meadow Square on Tuesday (10 November) night.
Stopps appeared at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday 12 November) where he was remanded in custody to appear at Crown Court on 10 December.
A 25-year-old man from Warwick was also arrested this afternoon on suspicion of robbery and possession of class A drugs, and remains in police custody.
