Three arrests were made after officers responded to report of three males on stolen mopeds attempting to rob someone in Bucks Hill, and stolen a bag from a car in Lutterworth Road.
A 17-yer-old boy from Coventry was charged with two counts of theft of motor vehicle, using threatening words likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, conspiracy to steal from another, theft from a motor vehicle, conspiracy to steal a motor vehicle, dangerous driving, driving without insurance, failure to stop, and driving without a licence.
A 15-year-old boy from Atherstone was charged with two counts of theft of motor vehicle, failure to stop, two counts of dangerous driving, driving without a licence, assault, and theft from a motor vehicle.
Both boys will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday 12 November).
A 19-year-old man from Nuneaton arrested at the same time has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
