A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident near Leamington last night.
At around 9.40pm, police were called to a report of a stabbing on Murcott Road East in Whitnash.
Officers and the ambulance service attended, where a man in his twenties was found with serious injuries to his arm.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm this afternoon and is currently in police custody awaiting interview.
Detective Inspector Collette O’Keefe from Warwickshire Police said: “This was a serious incident and a number of enquiries are currently ongoing.
“At this time, it is being treated as an isolated incident with no risk to the wider public.
“We would ask anyone with any information, or anyone who was in the area last night and may have dashcam footage of the incident, to please come forward.
“Any information can be given by calling Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 425 of 12 November 2020.”
