A man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery, aggravated vehicle taking, making off without payment, two counts of interfering with a motor vehicle, and theft of a motor vehicle.
The 31-year-old man from Nuneaton was arrested by officers from Nuneaton Proactive CID this morning (Tuesday 10 November).
He was arrested in connection with a series of offences on 14 October in Nuneaton including a robbery at a house in Ivanhoe Avenue and interfering with cars in Ivanhoe Avenue and Aberdeen Road.
He was also arrested in connection with a series of offences in Leicestershire including the theft of a car and making off without paying from a petrol station.
The man remains in police custody while enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information that could help police with their investigation should call 101. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
