Warwickshire Police is appealing for witnesses or information following a sexual offence in Rugby on Friday night (1 May 2020).
Between 10.30pm and 10.50pm, a woman in her 20s was sexually assaulted in the Pennington Mews area of Rugby.
The suspect is described as being a short man of a medium build, who spoke with an Eastern European accent. He is described as having narrow cheeks, distinctive front teeth and was believed to be wearing dark clothing with a cap and a hood over the top. He was travelling on a bicycle.
Investigating officer, Det Con Kate Skyrme from Warwickshire Police said: “This is an understandably concerning incident, and the victim is currently being supported by specialist officers.
“Officers are conducting a number of enquiries and would ask anyone who witnessed the offence or any suspicious activity in the area to please call Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 191 of 2 May 2020.”
